Submission Guidelines Tell us your Good News! Submit pictures, essays, articles about parish events and reflection pieces at the Rectory office or by email to GoodNews@ic-parish.com. Please include your name and telephone number so we may contact you. Submission deadlines will be advertised in the Church Bulletins and on the parish website. NEXT DEADLINE: September 22, for the Fall issue in homes around October 17, 2008. Articles: Written submissions should be no longer than 600 words. Submissions may be edited for length or clarity. Be brief but tell your story completely by using the "five W's," WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN and WHY. You may drop a hardcopy off in the Rectory or submit through email. Documents sent as email attachments must be in Microsoft Word. You may also include your submission directly in the body of an email. Pictures: Either photographs or digital pictures (.jpg files) may be submitted. A digital camera is kept in the Rectory for parish use. Identify by name those pictured in the photos and the circumstances (WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN and WHY). In general, photos framing a few individuals engaging in an activity are preferable to those showing an unidentifiable crowd.
