THE QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Immaculate Conception Parish is pleased to
announce "The Question of the Week". Each week you will find a
question here in the bulletin and also on our parish website at
IC-Parish.com The purpose of the question is to provide you with an
opportunity to consider the Gospel message a little more personally.
You are encouraged to discuss your thoughts with family members and
parish family members. We have also included a "Question of the
Week" for the younger members of our parish family.

WORLD MARRIAGE DAY
CELEBRATION
The 26th Annual World Marriage Day will be
celebrated on Sunday, February 12th
at 2:00 pm at The Cathedral of the
Immaculate Conception in Syracuse.
Most Reverend Robert J. Cunningham will celebrate Mass and renew the
marriage vows of all couples in attendance. Bishop Cunningham will
honor couples celebrating silver anniversaries, golden anniversaries
and all celebrating an anniversary beyond 50 years in 2012. All
couples are encouraged to attend.

SENIOR CITIZEN MASS AND LUNCHEON
Our next Senior Citizen Mass and Luncheon will
be Tuesday, February 14th.
Mass begins at 11:30 am with lunch immediately following in Dwyer
Hall. If you would like to attend this luncheon, please RSVP by
calling the Rectory Office at 637-9846.

LENT
Lent begins on
Ash Wednesday, February 22nd.
Ashes will be distributed during the Masses at 6:25 a.m., 9:30 a.m.,
and 5:30 p.m. There is no 7pm Mass on Ash Wednesday.
Again we will have our
weekly Wednesday evening Mass with guest priest at 7:00 pm. (no 7:00
p.m. Mass on Ash Wednesday). This is a wonderful commitment for the
entire family. The schedule of Masses and presiders is:

Our Lenten theme this year: “Beginning Anew!”
In order to accommodate
people’s work schedules and still allow attendance at Daily Mass
periodically, we will continue a minor change in the early Daily
Mass schedule that we have previously done for LENT ONLY.
The 9:00am Mass will continue Monday
thru Friday. The early Masses will
be:
6:25a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Communion Service on Fridays)
7:00a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday
