Volunteers are needed to help with
high school faith formation. Students study Scripture, the Catholic
Faith and Confirmation Sacramental courses. Well prepared lesson
plans and other resources are plentiful to assist teachers. Team
teaching opportunities are available as well. Classes meet once a
month on a Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. during September, October,
November, December, February, March and April. Substitute Teacher (Grades 9-12): Substitute teachers are called
upon to serve when regular catechists are unable to teach.
IC TEENS Participant (7th - 12th Graders) Students in grades 7-12 at any
school can join IC TEENS. This group provides an opportunity for
students to get together, meet new friends, and participate in
social, spiritual, and service activities. The group usually meets
monthly. There are annual field trips in the spring and summer.

IMPACT: IMPACT stands for IC Teens Making,
Praying, Acting, Committing and Transforming. This group is a
self-directed group of primarily high school Juniors and Seniors (others
may join us!) who plan and implement projects to make our community a
better place for all. Through IMPACT our young people turn caring
ideas into realities. They have welcomed strangers, affirmed each
other, and served the hungry and the poor. All high school teenagers
are invited to join in making an IMPACT!
IMPACT Adult Helper: We are always in need of adults
(21 and older) to assist at and chaperone teen service projects.
Adults to assist as project leaders are also needed.
CYO Basketball Coach: Basketball coaches are needed from
October to February during the CYO basketball season. IC parish
usually sponsors a Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball team. If
there is enough interest, a 7th/8th grade team may also be formed.
CYO Basketball Coordinator: Catholic Charities coordinates the
CYO Basketball League. Each parish has a representative who works
with the league and the parish coaches to set up a schedule. Adults
are always welcome and needed to assist this group.
