FISH: Friends In Service Here (FISH)
is a program offered in the FM Community which transports those in need to
medical appointments. This organization allows y flexibility to meet your busy schedule.
Mileage reimbursed. FM/JD Meals on Wheels Helper: Volunteers are needed to cook
meals at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on Rt. 92 and
Woodchuck Hill Road, from 9 to 11 am any day, Monday through Friday. I.C. Parish is a founding church of this program. FM/JD Meals on Wheels Driver: Volunteer drivers are needed to
deliver meals locally. You may select a regular route or drive as
a substitute. Samaritan Center Bakers: Provide desserts and baked goods
to the Samaritan Center on weekdays throughout the year.
Samaritan Center Meals: Churches take turns providing
dinners for the homeless. Our parish provides dinners at the
Samaritan Center on Saturdays approximately five times a year.
Social Ministry Committee:
Committee members work
to assess needs, inform and coordinate parish assistance of Syracuse
social service agencies. The
Habitat for Humanity: Help raise funds for and volunteer
time to help build Habitat
