FISH:

Friends In Service Here (FISH) is a program offered in the FM Community which transports those in need to medical appointments.  This organization allows y flexibility to meet your busy schedule.  Mileage reimbursed.

FM/JD Meals on Wheels Helper:

Volunteers are needed to cook meals at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on Rt. 92 and Woodchuck Hill Road, from 9 to 11 am any day, Monday through Friday.  I.C. Parish is a founding church of this program.

FM/JD Meals on Wheels Driver:

Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver meals locally.  You may select a regular route or drive as a substitute.

Samaritan Center Bakers:

Provide desserts and baked goods to the Samaritan Center on weekdays throughout the year.

Samaritan Center Meals:

Churches take turns providing dinners for the homeless.  Our parish provides dinners at the Samaritan Center on Saturdays approximately five times a year.

Social Ministry Committee:

Committee members work to assess needs, inform and coordinate parish assistance of Syracuse social service agencies. The
committee organizes the Christmas “Giving Tree” and the Fair Trade Craft sales, as well as helping place, resettle and support
refugee families in the Syracuse area.

Habitat for Humanity:

Help raise funds for and volunteer time to help build Habitat
homes in the Syracuse area. Coordinator needed.
